Logitech PS3 / PS2 Wireless Guitar Controller This instant

I purchased this guitar after the Warbeast went down completely in less than a year. It is a solid design and works very well with Guitar Hero games. But I also have all of the Rock Band games and this guitar will not sync up with the game. I have 2 PS2's one is the older model and one I just got, the slim design. It would not work in either system. I know it has the GH label on it and was designed for GH, but for the price and all the advanced technology out there I am really dissapointed it does not work with Rock Band. I read reviews that some said it did work with RB so I purchased one. It is still a really good guitar though. I even called Logitech technical service and asked if there was something I needed to do that I had not tried. The technician told me that some people have said it works with RB and some have complained that it doesn't. That was all he said, not much to add. The only other issue I have with the guitar is that I thought with its weight it could have had a longer neck.
